Name: Izel Jamil Nicknames: Izzy Age: 27 Gender: Male Height: 6’4’’/ 193 cm Date of Birth: Ayeer 09 Place of Birth: Ta’am Deity: Neither Alignment: 0 Weapon/Equipment: Bamboo Stick Wood Boat Reckless | Hot-tempered | Distant | Secretive | Guarded | Resentful | Dependable | Protective | Inconsistent | Moody | Familial Izel is a man who has much more regrets than he appears to have.. His large handsome figure exudes confidence and trust making him rather dependable in physical situations, but his smile only hide his thoughts and feelings he has with his extroverted nature. He’s not willing to share his past with others, fearful that their thoughts of him will change only judging him off one mistake he made in the past. He rather not distant himself from others if he must, but he does keep a boundary that will not cross due to his past crime. He is pretty much inconsistent, though he has consistent values like about morals and justice. His behaviors may rapid swing from one to the other, left and right, depending on his mood. Izel typically ignores his own judgement and rationality in favor for how he feels. However he has been learning to restrain his inner conflicts dealing with anger at times, but not managing to control it fully. And even when he does try to express frustration in a calm manner, he turns out to be rather illogical or can be rash in his actions and destructive behavior, like cursing and swearing or breaking objects or injuring himself in the process. The man does have a strong sense of loyalty especially to his family. Izel can be sympathetic and concerned for others who care about him, willing to go out of his way to help those he cherishes even doing things he dislikes because of it like work. He is protective and can be seen as almost possessive due to his attachment to his those he love. Izel was born in the barley wheat fields of Ta’am, a son of a fabric weaver mother and a farmer father and the middle child of five children, the second to the youngest. Young Izel basically grew up taking care of his father’s crops and lugging around his mother’s goods with his elder brothers, for his parents to hand over to trading merchants. However, Izel was never really fond of the mundane work. He tended to purposely skip his chores and go play with other village friends by venturing out in the plains. However, he was usually caught by his eldest brother whenever out on his adventures, and their father would scold him for not doing his work. He was punished by being forced to eat less and work more the next day if he did something wrong. For Izel, having a prosperous family was having a large one with multiple children where they can help with work and feed you, but that only made him more disinterested in having a family -- more mouths to feed and more Quorh that he’d have to get, he thought. However he couldn't disobey or rebel against his family as he cherished them. Particularly his mother and his sisters as he never really wanted them to take on difficult tasks or such hardship, wanting them to be well off and well fed despite the efforts needed to make ends meet. It was during late teens when he found out his younger sister had been harassed by by a village boy a bit older than her. Izel was wandering around, looking for his baby sister who had stayed out too late, and found a boy sexually assaulting his sister in the middle of nowhere. Izel couldn’t take it, becoming livid at the sight. He attacked the younger male with his sickle, pummeling the kid to the ground, and slashing the boy's skin with large cuts to protect his sibling. But, Izel's rage took over him and he couldn't control it, killing the young adolescent as a result. Izel's arm was scarred due to the village boy’s attempt to retaliate. But not only that, Izel's sister’s memory had already been tainted by the murder she witnessed before her eyes and her innocent pure body almost tainted by the monster of a man. She couldn't look at her older brother the same way, and Izel couldn't look at himself the same way either. Izel wasn't the brother in her eyes, and he no longer could see himself as one. Teenage Izel had began painting his arm in a green band to cover up the scar that was left on his body as an attempt to cover up the sin he had committed that night. The Ta’am villagers had found the village boy's corpse a few days later in those very same plains where he was murdered after searching for him. But they have deemed the boy was killed by a monster-like predator because of the sharp marks and cuts on the body. After concluding thus, the villagers never looked further into the situation or realized the young villager was murdered by Izel. Izel grew up, thinking, he should do something more with his life other than just transporting goods or gathering crops like a farmer. He should be a warrior or a guard. But, he knew that was rather pointless, as he would never be accepted by the society due to his past wrongdoing. But his current life was a mess; he couldn’t even be the model-like brother he should have been. There was only Quorh that was left for him, which for some reason he hated. His life had to be surrounded by security rather than happiness. After all, he couldn't find that happiness -- he wasn't allowed to. But in the end, he only brought insecurity to his own family. He could feel their anxiousness due to his sudden distant yet irregular behavior. But it was to protect them and hide his faults from them. He had to get away. So when he was offered the opportunity to go live in the city along with his other villager friends, as there was more work to found in the large cities unlike in the village, he took it. One by one, his friends left to become sailors of Sargas, he on the other hand chose to work in Aldebaran, for their carefree nature and lifestyle was more appealing to him. They were so friendly, why would he want to leave? The people cared for his well-being even when he was just freeloading off of them and couldn't make ends meet. It was much different than how he lived with his family in Ta’am, as the Aldebarans took care of each other with care and affection, that seemed to rub off on him. He adored the familial warm affection there that existed among people, even though he knew he shouldn’t be attached to it. But he had a new life there, he was now someone else with a clean slate and record; he wouldn't have to cause trouble to his family; he was only Izel, the city porter. Name: Fathaya Albada Nicknames: Fatha Age: 24 Gender: Female Height: 5 ' 8 /1,70m Place of Birth: Mintaka Deity: Mesarthim Alignment: 0 Weapon/Equipment: - Small Knife (from her sister ) - Flute (about 20 cm and made of an animal bone ) Fathaya is a spoiled and selfish girl, which is probably because of her sister, who pampers her and fulfills most of the selfish whims that Fathaya has. She does not like to be ignored by others, and sometimes pushes her demands onto others, being inconsiderate about what other might feel. Seeing her sister’s as a strong woman with pride, she also wants to become one because she looks up to her. She is not the type to admit her own feelings and tends to say the opposite, because she doesn’t want to show what she really feels. She shows her feelings and love openly only to those that are close to her and who she trusts. She can be kind sometimes to those she likes, but her affection can be rather spontaneous. Fathaya is curious about many things, but because she is usually the ‘acts first, think later’ type, it can lead to trouble in her life. Fathaya was a lovely baby girl, born in a small hut in Mintaka. Her father was a Mesarthian, but her mother was a Mintaka villager who passed away soon after giving birth. It was unfortunate for her father to have lost his beloved, and his heart filled with grief. He didn't hate the baby, but he couldn't love her like he loved her mother-- her father saw the birth of his own flesh as the reason why his beloved died and though he wanted to care for her, he couldn’t. In the end he let his neighbor take care of her most of the time and gave her whatever she wanted The little girl didn’t really know her father. She was sad and felt a distance between her and her father, as he seemed very cold and never really looked into her eyes when they spoke. At a young age, she has a thirst for the love from her father, but she began to deny her own feelings and ended up hating her father. When she reached the age of 5, her father decided to return to Mesarthim taking his child Fathaya with him. When Fathaya arrived to her new home in Mesarthim, she learned that she had an older sister, Azada, and for the first time, Fathaya had someone she could call mother as well. Without knowing the circumstances between her father and his past of having several mistresses, Fathaya finally had people whom she could call her family and she was beyond happy. However Fathaya learned about the fact that she is another woman's child rather fast, as her father and stepmother fought often. And it scared her. She used to hide alone in the dark part of the house-- scared of seeing her raging parents. But her sister always came and found her, the young Fathaya that usually took refuge hiding alone, little by little opened her heart to her sister, letting her care for her. She was different from her father’s neighbor -- she’s family-- and her sister gave her so much attention and motherly love despite the only relation they had was having the same father. As time passed, her loving sister and mother gave Fathaya much love. Despite being unable to fulfill the fatherly affection Fathaya craved, it gave her much joy that she was loved by others. Fathaya grew into a lovely woman with lots of charm, having her late mother's figure and smile. But because her sister often spoiled her and always let her do as she pleased, she became rather egotistic and spoiled, sometimes pushing other people to meet her demand due to her pushy yet prideful behavior that she found in her looks and her esteem. She tried to make her sister proud by joining in hunts and learning the art of being a blacksmith; however, she was rather clumsy and didn’t have the skills to engage in such activities, and thus was forbidden by her older sister to partake in such things as she needlessly got injured. She became a messenger to help her sister in her work, getting clients from a big town and explore the sands of Khasha’an to see the world outside of her own little kingdom. She was inspired to become one when she saw a messenger around her age delivering a message from the city far away; it piqued her interest to see the world more.
