Blue Kingdom Talia
Talia is the kingdom predominantly surrounded by water. It is said there is a lifestream called Aquae Vitae or known to outsiders as the sacred water. Coming into direct contact with pure Aquae Vitae is hazardous to living beings and be poisoned.
The lifestream is said to represent the planet of Atedarian itself. The stream contains essence of the Planet and the memories, emotions, and knowledge of all who have lived on it. Thus new beings can be created using Aquae Vitae carrying those memories, emotions, and knowledge. However only the Talia summoners have a special affinity to use the lifestream and summon beings called Revenant. Their reigning symbol is twin mermaids like Pisces. The culture is very similar to surfers or Futuristic Asian like found in Blade and Soul. Citizens usually wear tight fitting body suits in case they must swim or surfer wet suits/swim suits like bikinis. Some wear helmets which enable them to breathe freely underwater. However in colder and snowy places of the kingdom, individuals may be seen wearing layered clothing or even fur. |
HistoryWhen the king's war began, the Blue King came to the aid of the Green King and made an alliance with Green Kingdom Jinan. This alliance has stayed strong as the kingdoms began supporting one another, helping each other's commerce and trade.
Originally oriental culture which grew quickly into a futuristic oriental world after the blood rebellion. However a group of individuals in Talia wanted more power and wished to take over the Jinan allies. The group was outcasted for practicing taboo dark arts akin to the Black Kingdom's summon (blood summoning) tainting the lifestream with their blood summons. The group of outcasts created their own kingdom Agana as a result to prove they didn't need the lifestream's power to summon their own powerful beings. |
PlacesThere is an underwater city called Atlas which was sunk under the ocean when war was waged in the Talia Kingdom.
However most of the places are surrounded by water if not submerged under the water. Many Talians travel through an underwater train or submarines which connects the ocean where the kingdom resides. |
